AP team perseveres for access to China’s proposed ‘Yellowstone’

Washington science reporter Christina Larson; Beijing’s video journalist Emily Wang, video producer Olivia Zhang and photographer Han Guan Ng; and New York-based science team reporters Marshall Ritzel and Kathy Young, overcame major bureaucratic and logistical hurdles to produce the ninth installment in the “What Can Be Saved” series: an immersive look Sanjiangyuan, China’s first proposed national park, in one of the most pristine areas of the Tibetan plateau.
